Psychiatrist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Psychiatrist based in Abu Dhabi. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with a wide range of mental health issues. Daily tasks include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support each child's holistic development. The Psychiatrist will also engage with families to provide guidance and support, ensuring the child's well-being and progress.

Qualifications

Medical degree with specialization in Psychiatry or a related field

Valid DOH (Department of Health) license

Clinical experience in child and adolescent psychiatry or developmental disorders

Excellent communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills

Passion for working with individuals with special needs

Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous

ABA Therapist with CDA License

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or Psychology

With MOFA-UAE attested university degree and Equivalency Report from the Ministry of Education is a plus

Experience:

3–5 years of hands-on experience in a clinical/center-based setting

Experience as part of a therapy team is highly desirable.
