Assistant Resident Engineer
Responsibilities:
Assist the Resident Engineer in overseeing site execution of shopping mall construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
Monitor daily construction progress, conduct routine inspections, and report on workmanship and safety practices.
Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve site issues and ensure timely completion of works.
Review shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and material submittals in coordination with discipline engineers.
Support the implementation of quality control procedures and participate in quality audits and inspections.
Ensure that construction activities align with approved timelines, materials, and design intent, particularly in public areas, retail zones, atriums, and back-of-house spaces.
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and budget forecasts specific to shopping mall developments, including core & shell, fit-out, and MEP works.
Conduct cost planning and value engineering to optimize project budgets while maintaining design intent and commercial performance.
Manage the tendering process, including preparation of tender documents, analysis of bids, and contractor negotiations.
Administer contracts (FIDIC and bespoke forms), including variations, claims assessment, and cost control during the construction phase.
Monitor project budgets, perform cost tracking, and issue monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
Review and evaluate payment applications, interim valuations, and final accounts for contractors and subcontractors.
Collaborate closely with the design, project management, and procurement teams to ensure cost-efficiency across all trades and packages.
Identify and mitigate potential commercial risks, delays, or cost overruns.
Senior Structural Engineer
Responsibilities:
Lead the structural design and analysis of shopping mall components including foundations, slabs, columns, beams, parking structures, long-span roofs, and atriums.
Coordinate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure the structural system supports project functionality and design intent.
Prepare and review detailed structural drawings, specifications, design calculations, and BOQs.
Supervise structural design activities across all stages: concept, schematic, detailed design, tender, and construction.
Ensure structural systems comply with local codes, international standards (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocodes), and shopping mall load criteria (live loads, foot traffic, equipment, façade, etc.).
Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to structural drawings, material specifications, and quality standards.
