Civil Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare project budget by taking off quantities from drawings using AutoCAD and Planswift.
Analyze and track project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
Prepare detailed cost reports using earned value method, financial summaries, and variance analyses and cost to complete analysis.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Review and approve procurement plans, invoices, and payment schedules.
Monitoring and controlling projects’ stores/ stock, projects’ resources, and wastage of material.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate cost overruns.
Civil Project Manager
Preparing daily schedules to meet project targets.
Attending meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Coordinating with consultants to resolve project-related issues.
Collaborating with department managers to arrange materials and subcontractors.
Preparing variation claims and obtaining consultant/client approvals.
Liaising with authorities for necessary approvals and permits.
Following up with the planning engineer for program updates.
Ensuring adherence to QA/QC and HSE plans.
Managing approvals for materials, subcontractors, and shop drawings.
Coordinating with the Purchasing Department for material procurement and delivery.
Collaborating with the Contracts Department for subcontractor agreements and approvals.
Drafting and preparing correspondence.
Reviewing and submitting monthly progress payments.
Approving subcontractors’ monthly payments.
Monitoring site manpower allocation and productivity.
