Knowledge
Advanced knowledge of light distillate market and market players
Understanding of oil market fundamentals and market analysis
Strong communication skills to maintain prompt reporting to stakeholders and counterparty relationships
Knowledge of derivative instruments for hedging
Experience of refining operations and processes considered as beneficial
Knowledge of IT standard software and software dedicated to the trading activities (CTRM, Bloomberg)
Education
Degree in Mathematics, Science, Finance or Economics is preferrable
Experience
8-10+ of front-line trading experience with a proven record of P&L accountability
Board Secretary
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
Professional certification is preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate secretarial role or a similar position with significant responsibility for Board and committee administration.
Proven track record in managing Board and committee communications and documentation effectively.
Experience working closely with senior executives and Board members is highly desirable.
Retail Area Manager
Analyze cash flow, cost controls and expenses for each station towards optimum utilization of company’s resources
Examines activities at all times to improve profitability, reducing wastage and ensure stock losses are kept within industry standard ranges
Conducts financial prudence in all decisions and monitor variances between actual expenditure and budget
Reviews and responds to queries related to expenditure reports and provides justification for any budget overspend
Establishes and obtains Line Manager’s agreement to annual sales target/budget target
Manages staff activities at each station and monitors the service standard of the Corporation; takes corrective action when required
Provides ongoing briefing/instructions to staff in order to maintain the Corporation image and ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
Manages staff appearance and personal hygiene at all stations, including arranging uniform/badges replacement as appropriate
Follows-up in conjunction with HR on the issuing or renewal of stations’ trade license, retail staff passports, health cards, ID cards, etc
Vice President - Accounting & Statutory Reporting
Contributes to the development and implementation of the Finance & Accounts Department’s strategic priorities and goals
Ensures business processes and work activities, relevant to position, are planned and executed in compliance with EMARAT policy, procedures and best practice to achieve business objectives in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner
Conducts periodic review of policy, procedures and practices, relevant to position, to identify opportunities for improvement and engagement in best practice
Generates periodic financial reports as per procedures in an accurate and timely manner, to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
Analyzes and interprets financial statement reports, cost controls and expenses in coordination with Department Managers and JV partners towards optimum utilization of company’s resources
Supervises and approves all activities related to the reconciliation ledger accounts, general and retail accounting units, and inventory to maintain integrity of financial information
