Now Hiring: Accountant – Supermarket/Retail Experience Required | Join a Growing Team in the UAE 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records for daily supermarket operations

  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, and customer invoicing

  • Reconcile POS reports, cash registers, and bank statements

  • Track inventory costs, wastage, and make necessary stock adjustments

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports

  • Manage VAT filing and taxation compliance; coordinate with auditors

  • Monitor petty cash, daily sales, and credit customer accounts

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and financial controls



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or supermarket

  • Solid understanding of inventory accounting and POS reconciliation

  • Proficient in accounting tools like Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books

  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting

  • Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and retail tax compliance

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • Effective communicator and team player
