Associate Project Manager

Responsibilities Include

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate tasks and resources to provide project management on specific projects, as well as guidance and support to Design Management Teams for effective project delivery on time and to required quality standards.
  • Provide project management support and guidance on multiple projects with efficiency, effectiveness, and good time management.
  • Assist Design Management Teams with project management tasks, procedures, and documentation including progress reports, schedules for resourcing, RFIs, change requests, and risk registers.
  • Assist the Design Management Teams with project programming and maintain a high-level studio workload master programme.
  • Establish and define project control procedures, identify resource levels required, and coordinate with Design Management Teams.
  • Monitor and assist with the Design Management Team’s compliance with QAQC and documentation procedures in accordance with Studio manuals.
  • Maintain change registers and coordinate between Design Management Teams and external consultants to facilitate and manage change requests.
  • Monitor and report to Studio Leadership and relevant Heads of Departments on projects at risk in relation to time and quality management.
  • Support the team with effective risk management practices, coordinating between the Design Management Teams for risk reporting, mitigation, and recovery planning.
  • Facilitate project-specific procurement of external consultants and coordinate their performance and deliverables for selected projects.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and confidently interact with external consultants for reporting and resolving project management and contractual matters.
  • Lead a team of Planning Engineers and provide necessary training and guidance. Manage additional planning and project management duties as assigned by Studio leadership.
  • Assist the Project Manager in performing assigned duties.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Studio Leadership.

Experience

Minimum: 10–15 years

Educational Qualifications

Any Engineering Degree or Equivalent

  • Excellent Primavera, MS Office, and Power BI skills.
  • Strong expertise in Project Management, Project Planning, and Project Controls.
  • Solid understanding of Design and Construction Processes.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills.
