Commercial Operations Analysis Lead

Role Purpose

The Commercial Operations Analysis Lead is responsible for conducting sales analysis, monitoring operating expenses, minimizing costs, and enhancing operational efficiencies to achieve business objectives. He/she collaborates with the brand management team to design commercial strategies aimed at improving brand performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data and figures from various sources to provide management with critical information for decision-making purposes.
  • Evaluate the daily, weekly, and monthly performance of stores to identify significant outliers and develop corresponding actions to mitigate risks or capitalize on opportunities.
  • Offer insights into budget planning to comprehensively address business needs.
  • Participate in designing and implementing action plans and processes by managing, delivering, and maintaining ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Review suppliers' margin agreements and recommend new schemes to enhance the financial interests of the brand(s).
  • Monitor inventory entries to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on strategic planning for commercial or operational activities, including markdowns or markups, among others.
  • Analyze stock turnover, monitor shipment flow, examine inventory provisions, and identify as well as resolve related inadequacies.
  • Participate in SVR (Store Visit Report) feasibility studies and recommend actions to support the commercial operations agenda.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Six to eight years of experience in Fashion Retail, or a similar role.
  • Three years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and stock management tools.
