Lenders E&S Compliance Leader

ActivatesLender E&S Compliance Management for SPVAdopt and deploy PROJECT, Company’s E&S standards, ambitions, and commitments.Actively support PROJECT to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards throughout its lifetime (local regulation, lenders’ requirements – IFC, Company standards, and commitments toward E&S).Define, where applicable, and follow up on the status of project’s E&S studies and plans, associated planning, and budgets.Raise, report, and resolve any E&S incident.Report progress of E&S activities to the SPV HSE Management and support reporting to the Company head office.Participate and represent SPV during meetings with key external stakeholders, communities, and site visits (Authorities, Consultants, Lenders, Contractors).Prepare, manage, and update SPV E&S Management System and Plans (Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Grievance Mechanism, Biodiversity Management Plan, etc.) in cooperation with the GGIP Affiliate.Transverse Coordination Related to LendersEnsure close coordination with TEEP Ratawi affiliate E&S team.Ensure close coordination with REN E&S team.Participate in various HSE and E&S coordination meetings as required.Gather and consolidate PROJECT E&S reporting database (including Sustainab’ALL KPIs) and ensure timely reporting as per PROJECT and other applicable requirements.Participate in environmental risk evaluations for audits or technical reviews as requested.Supervise Lenders E&S Due Diligence ProcessServe as the E&S focal point for the Lenders and Technical Advisor Consultant through the ESDD/ESAP process.Ensure E&S studies quality control and validate deliverables.Request timely support from Company HQ E&S experts for the revision and validation of studies and deliverables.Demonstrate experience and familiarity with Lenders’ E&S expectations and financing agreements.Prepare monthly IFC compliance reports.Coordinate and follow up quarterly Lender IESC site visits.Prepare bi-annual monitoring reports for Lenders and follow up on actions.Ensure Implementation of E&S Requirements by ContractorsReview and approve EPC Construction E&S Management Plans (CESMP) before contract signature and commencement (for OHTL and PV).Monitor and control implementation of EPC CESMP.Ensure coordination between EPC CESMP and SPV ESMS.Participate in HSE meetings with Contractors’ Environmental Managers and CLRs, ensuring E&S issues are addressed.Conduct regular E&S site inspections.Ensure TEEPRH Social Performance Strategy AdherenceReport to the Sustainability Manager and coordinate with the Sustainability team for all Social Performance matters.Ensure Social Performance requirements are applied and reported by Solar Contractors via enforced mechanisms.Requirements Degree or Diploma in Environmental or Social Engineering or a related field.Advanced level of English (both written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience as an E&S Consultant for Project Sponsors and Lenders interactions or similar roles.Experience in IFC PS, EBRD compliance follow-up.Experience in ESIA processing of renewable projects.Experience in ESDD reporting and Lender’s requirements follow-up.Experience in construction environmental and social management.Experience in local stakeholder management.High level of knowledge of international E&S requirements and proven knowledge of IFC PS requirements.Strong technical writing and organizational skills.Good transverse management and understanding of HSE procedures.Experience in developing, implementing, and improving HSE management systems.Proficiency in MS Office applications.
