About the JobWe are Azizi, a leading Dubai-based developer, passionate about crafting beautiful homes across Dubai’s prime residential and commercial destinations. With projects such as Burj Azizi, Monaco Mansions, and Azizi Venice, we are expanding our Design 360 Studio, integrating Architecture, Structures, MEP, Landscape, Interiors, and Supervision to deliver innovative and high-value real estate assets. The Senior Technical Architect – Hospitality will report to the Lead Technical Architect – Hospitality and Design Manager – Hospitality, based at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai. This role leads the technical development of architectural projects, ensuring design compliance, authority approvals, constructability, and high-quality documentation across all stages.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the technical development of projects across all design stages, focusing on authority submissions and compliance.Review and approve detailed design drawings, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and constructability.Coordinate technical aspects with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design and construction challenges effectively.Ensure all technical documentation complies with local authority codes, standards, and international best practices.Demonstrate knowledge of major international codes (e.g., IBC, NFPA, ASHRAE) to guide technical compliance.Manage and mentor technical design teams to achieve project objectives while fostering professional growth.Conduct regular reviews to maintain design quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate with the Lead Technical Architect to align with project targets and design compliance requirements.Safeguard the design intent, ensuring the final technical output aligns with the original creative vision.Handle local authority submissions, including compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations.Educational QualificationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.ExperienceMinimum 8–15 years of experience in Architectural Design or Hospitality Design.Role Specific Qualifications & TrainingCertification in BIM workflows preferred.Dubai Municipality registration preferred.Computer and Software ProficiencyRevitAutoCADNavisworksBIM360Adobe SuiteMicrosoft Office SuiteBehavioral CompetenciesDetail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
