The Asset & Plant Department Central Store Manager oversees the daily operation of the central store, including supervising employees, creating shift schedules, and implementing safety policies. This role ensures smooth operations, optimal inventory management, and adherence to safety and compliance standards within a construction or development environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Asset & Plant Department Central Store.
  • Direct and manage store personnel, including creating shift schedules and assigning tasks.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures within the store.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and ensure efficient material flow.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in store and asset management within a construction or developer environment.
  • At least 5 years in a senior supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of plant and equipment operations, spare parts, consumables, and tools used in construction.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and inventory management software.
  • Sound understanding of procurement, logistics, and asset management procedures.
